Food as a commodity, as sustenance, as a marker of social class and instrument of political change, and as art form-- all the varied manifestations of food and food history in the Pacific Northwest will be explored at this conference.

The Pacific Northwest Historians Guild promotes the study of history, preservation of historical resources, and publication of materials relating to Pacific Northwest history.
